Gary joins Boom hotfoot from New York where he's spent fifteen years. Alonsgide US radio, he was writing and promoting songs in the Big Apple - and created a new piano karaoke bar!

With a lifetime of musical passion, Gary was part of the team who launched BBC 6 Music over twenty years ago.

He began his radio life in the East Midlands on Radio Trent. Now he returns to settle down in the Derbyshire Dales - and help shape our new Boom Rock station.
