Born with a name for radio, the career choice for Kidderminster’s Mike Wyer was obvious!

Mike’s early days in radio were sky-high - broadcasting from the ‘flying eye traffic plane! This followed an apprenticeship in hospital radio – alongside earning a crust as the manager of a Curry’s store - and at Midlands Bank

Mike was later heard on major commercial stations in the East and West Midlands – a far cry from his childhood days with his brother’s reel-to-reel tape recorder, delivering ‘radio shows’ to his mum and dad in the kitchen below.
