Paul is the son of a rocket scientist with a BSc Hons from Manchester Uni, who, when commercial radio started in the 70s, decided he wanted to play records on the radio. He first job was in marketing, but he spent his time glued to first Capital Radio and then Piccadilly Radio listening to great presenters including Graham Dene, Roger Scott, Nicky Horne and Roger Day.

He has worked as a presenter and/or manager at Radio Tees, Mercia Sound, Chiltern, Galaxy, BBC Three Counties, Radio London, Radio 1 and Talk Radio. Over the last 25 years he has been in children's TV and animation production at The Walt Disney Company and NBC Universal in London and Los Angeles.

Paul is very happy being back behind the mic with the amazing team at Boom.
