Rod Whiting has served over thirty years in media, with ITN/IRN, commercial and BBC local radio & regional TV. He was the longest-serving breakfast presenter at BBC Radio Lincolnshire.

Rod served in the military for fourteen years before spending several years in sales and marketing with blue chip companies including Barratt Homes and Halifax.
