Whilst a London dance student in London, Susie started her radio career aged 17 in hospital radio.  She danced professionally in the light entertainment field across the UK, Europe, Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean. During the early '80s she appeared in numerous music videos including the classic Take On Me by A-ha.

After working in production on the early MOBO awards in the late 90s, she started a family and during this time worked part time as PA to the actress Susan Hampshire.

As her children grew up, Susie returned to radio where you may have heard her on The Wireless, Encore Radio, Mellow Magic and as Tony Blackburn’s showbiz correspondent on his BBC Local Radio Shows.

Now Susie is thrilled to join the team at Boom Light - and you can join her each Saturday at 10 am.
